Once the attack stopped, the spam addresses became identifiable easier, because the spammer was no longer refreshing their timestamps.

After spam, I observed a sharp increase in the number of terrible addresses, followed by a sharp decrease. I think most addresses that made it into addrman during that period have since been evicted.
